Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a  Controls/Electrical Project Engineer for our client. This job is responsible for the design, detailing, and support of the controls for material handling systems with the support and guidance of the entire team.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Design the control and electrical schemes for material handling systems, including panel layouts, power, control, communication distribution, and schematics
• Create bills of material
• Assist with installation at customer's facilities
• Assist in FAT/Prototype assembly/builds/troubleshooting
• 15-25% travel required
• Participate in and/or lead research and development projects
• Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• 3-5 years of engineering design experience
• CAD experience - AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan
• Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven, detail oriented, problem solver
• ERP knowledge (NetSuite or similar)
• Material handling equipment experience or Industrial, Construction, Manufacturing experience
• Panel building experience
• PLC, RFID, Proximity Switch knowledge/experience
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
