Job Description
The Carpenter Foreman leads and organizes carpentry crews on commercial and mixed construction projects, ensuring precise layout, elevation setting, and high-quality workmanship. This role requires managing a crew of 5-10 carpenters, coordinating closely with general contractors, and maintaining safety and efficiency on site using standard and power carpentry tools along with grade laser technology.
Responsibilities
- Organize and lead carpentry work layout and elevation setting
- Manage and supervise a crew of 5-10 carpenters
- Communicate effectively with general contractors to ensure project alignment
- Oversee safety compliance and quality control on site
- Manage time, resources, and work schedules for timely project completion
- Resolve on-site problems and coordinate solutions promptly
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in carpentry
- Vocational training in carpentry or construction
- Strong skills in crew leadership and construction site safety
- Ability to read blueprints and coordinate projects
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
