Phlebotomist

Location: Salina, KS, 415 East Prescott, Salina, KS 67401. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. Three (3) years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Experience drawing on pediatrics. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
