Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg team for a 13-week contract. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care while managing multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the physician.
• Implement physician orders and established care plans.
• Educate patients and families throughout the admission and discharge process.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to nursing assistants.
• Maintain patient safety and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Nursing experience.
• CPR certification.
• Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.
