Position Description PIMCO is seeking an accomplished and motivated Channel Marketing Associate to join our U.S. Global Wealth Management (GWM) Marketing team. The successful candidate brings marketing experience, a technology-forward mindset, and an interest in leveraging data, automation, AI, and emerging capabilities to enhance client engagement, support business growth, and improve marketing effectiveness. In this role, you will support the execution of data-driven marketing strategies across key growth segments, supporting PIMCO’s engagement with U.S. financial advisors and contributing to the firm’s growth agenda. This includes helping to execute segmentation strategies, activating targeted campaigns, and delivering integrated marketing programs that strengthen audience engagement, support distribution priorities, and generate measurable impact. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of data-driven, multi-year marketing strategies across key growth segments. Drawing on client insights, market intelligence, and campaign performance, you will help support audience targeting efforts and identify opportunities to improve engagement and marketing effectiveness. Working closely with colleagues across Channel Marketing, Digital, Events, Content, Creative, and Analytics, you will support the development and execution of integrated marketing programs designed to enhance client engagement and deliver a consistent experience across channels. You will gain valuable exposure to sales teams, client-facing professionals, and cross-functional marketing partners while contributing to initiatives that support PIMCO’s distribution strategy, client engagement efforts, and growth priorities. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the development and implementation of integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with business and firmwide growth objectives. Assist in the execution of marketing plans and campaigns that support key client segments and distribution priorities. Support audience targeting and segmentation efforts, leveraging insights and analytics to enhance personalization, improve engagement, and optimize marketing effectiveness. Contribute to the development and activation of integrated marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across the client lifecycle. Collaborate with sales teams, client-facing partners, and internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives aligned with business priorities. Coordinate with colleagues across Digital, Events, Content, Creative, Analytics, and other teams to support the execution of cross-functional marketing initiatives and deliver cohesive client experiences across channels. Support campaign and program measurement efforts, leveraging data, feedback, and insights to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement. Maintain a test-and-learn mindset, helping refine campaigns and programs based on performance data, client feedback, and market insights. Embrace and help implement innovative tools, technologies, and ways of working that enhance marketing effectiveness and scalability. Manage multiple projects and deliverables while balancing competing priorities and deadlines. Support sales teams by helping ensure access to relevant, timely, and effective marketing resources. Ensure marketing activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements in partnership with Compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 2-3 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, financial services, or related marketing roles. Familiarity with intermediary, institutional, and/or advisor client segments. Experience supporting and executing integrated marketing programs across digital, content, events, paid media, and sales enablement channels. Experience collaborating with sales teams, business partners, and/or internal stakeholders preferred. Experience leveraging data, marketing technology, automation, and analytics to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Interest in applying innovative tools, including AI, to improve campaign performance, scalability, and ways of working. Understanding of client engagement strategies and investment decision-making processes desirable. Knowledge of investment products (e.g., Models, Alternatives, Municipals, SMAs, ETFs) desirable. Experience supporting digital marketing initiatives, campaign execution, project management, and performance measurement. Familiarity with marketing and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Seismic). Agile marketing experience is desirable. PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
