Direct Support ProfessionalNOW HIRING – Direct Support Professional (Part-Time)Eau Claire, WisconsinSeeking caring, dependable, and responsible individuals to provide direct support to a 40-year-old man with Angelman syndrome who lives independently in his own apartment in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys making a meaningful difference by supporting an individual in maintaining independence, participating in community activities, and enhancing quality of life.Responsibilities include:Assisting with supportive home care and personal care needs.Providing companionship and encouraging participation in community activities.Assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household organization.Providing transportation to community activities.Following the individual's support plan while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.Completing required documentation.SchedulePart-time position available.Primary shift: Every other weekend Sundays: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., with the possibility of additional hours.Fill-in and substitute shifts may also be available.QualificationsBe at least 18 years of age.Possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.Be dependable, reliable, and able to work independently.Successfully complete a background check.Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is welcome but not required.
