SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver is to provide support to the warehousing operations; ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct; maintain an organized warehouse layout; transport orders over designated routes; ensure safe operation of vehicles; load and unload orders.

PROOF OF VALID CALIFORNIA DRIVER'S LICENSE ALONG WITH CURRENT DMV REPORT (K-4) WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTACH TO APPLICATION BEFORE ASSIGNMENT CONFIRMATION. DRIVING A DISTRICT VEHICLE IS REQUIRED. Forklift certification highly desirable. Applicant must be able to obtain forklift certification within probation period if not currently certified.

OPEN TESTING Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year or until the list becomes exhausted. Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the contract. All properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most highly qualified individuals will be invited to continue in the selection process. The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials, written testing, oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicant's skill, training and experience.
