Interior Designer

Ashe Leandro is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our New York studio. Working closely with the Interior Design Director and senior leadership, this role contributes to the creative and technical development of projects from concept through installation. The ideal candidate combines a strong design sensibility with excellent organizational and communication skills and is comfortable taking ownership of portions of a project while collaborating with senior and junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document interior design concepts under the guidance of senior leadership.
• Lead portions of projects, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and client communications.
• Prepare drawings, material selections, presentations, specifications, budgets, and client approval documentation.
• Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, fixtures, and materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, contractors, and fabricators throughout design and procurement.
• Maintain accurate project and financial information in coordination with the bookkeeping team.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, site visits, sourcing, and installations.
• Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative studio environment.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
