We pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with our clients and creating a positive, supportive workplace for our team members.Position OverviewThe Veterinary Technician will play a key role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring excellent patient and client care. This position involves assisting with medical procedures, safe and compassionate patient handling, clear and professional client communication, and delivering high-quality care to every patient and client interaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to providing outstanding veterinary nursing care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians with examinations, medical procedures, and surgeriesPerform animal catheterization, venipuncture, and patient monitoringProvide routine and advanced nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patientsAdminister vaccinations and medications as directedPerform laboratory testing, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoringSafely and humanely restrain animalsClean and maintain medical equipment, kennels, and surgical areasCollaborate with the veterinary team to implement patient treatment plansStay current on veterinary terminology, protocols, and best practicesQualificationsStrong knowledge of animal anatomy and handling techniquesExperience with catheterization and clinical procedures highly preferredAbility to lift and move animals and equipment as requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsVeterinary Technician certification preferred but not required; willingness to pursue certification is expectedBenefits401(k) and 401(k) matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insurancePaid time off (PTO)Employee discounts
