What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care while helping residents maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.

• Provide compassionate support while encouraging resident independence whenever possible.

• Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.

• Assist with repositioning, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.

• Answer resident call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with professionalism and compassion.

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.

• Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and comfortable.

• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional resident care.

• Help promote a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

• CPR certification preferred.

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining excellent resident care.
