This position is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the facility, operating a sit-down forklift and packaging equipment, and ensuring materials are accurately staged and handled according to production requirements.The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a sit-down forklift to transport, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facilityOperate packaging equipment, including hoists and related material-handling equipmentRead and follow work orders, production assignments, and computerized instructionsVerify product quantities, weights, labels, and material information for accuracyPerform basic mathematical calculations to maintain accurate quantities and weightsComplete pre- and post-shift forklift inspections and report equipment issues or safety concernsSafely handle containers and materials weighing up to 50–60 pounds occasionallyMonitor material movement and ensure products are placed in the correct locationsMaintain accurate production or material-handling records using basic computer systemsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing excess debris and materialsFollow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing guidelinesCommunicate equipment issues, damaged materials, or other concerns to the supervisorAssist with additional production and material-handling duties as assignedWork overtime when needed to support production requirementsQualificationsAt least 1 year of forklift operating experienceSit-down forklift experience preferredPrevious manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferredBasic computer skillsAbility to read and understand work orders and computerized instructionsBasic math skills and ability to accurately track quantities and weightsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle heavier containers with assistanceAbility to frequently walk, stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and ability to check work for accuracyReliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed#INDI
