This position involves installing a variety of fence styles and materials across residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. Fence Installers work alongside our experienced team to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Rugged Fence’s high standards. Training is provided , and we are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and want to grow with our company.

Responsibilities

• Professionally install wood, vinyl, aluminum, agricultural fencing for residential and commercial customers
• Prepare job sites and follow project layouts, measurements, and installation specifications
• Set posts accurately and securely to ensure proper alignment, stability, and long-lasting results
• Install fence panels, rails, pickets, wire, gates, and gate hardware according to Rugged Fence quality standards
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fence installation equipment
• Handle materials carefully and efficiently throughout the installation process
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Treat customers, their homes, landscaping, and property with care and respect
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members throughout the project
• Work closely with crew members to complete installations safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Assist with fence repairs, adjustments, and other field work as needed
• Represent Rugged Fence professionally and uphold the craftsmanship and customer service standards behind our award-winning reputation
• Hands-on training is provided by our skilled and experienced fencing professionals to help you learn Rugged Fence’s installation methods and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of fence installation, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or similar hands-on experience preferred
• Experience with fencing is a plus, but training is provided
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, measurements, layout, and concrete work
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work and lift fencing materials
• Dependable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Professional and respectful when interacting with customers
• Commitment to workplace and job-site safety
