Join a team where your skills and dedication make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.Ultrasound Technologist Job Responsibilities:Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, echocardiography, and small parts imaging, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings to obtain optimal imaging results.Assess and position patients properly for each exam, ensuring comfort, safety, and accuracy.Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide timely diagnostic information.Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting imaging procedures and findings in the EMR system.Educate patients about ultrasound procedures, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.Follow all regulatory and accreditation standards, including HIPAA, AIUM, and facility protocols, to ensure quality and compliance.Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues as needed.Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through continuing education and professional development.Qualifications and Requirements:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-S).State licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist, if applicable.Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sonographer in a hospital or healthcare setting.Proficiency in operating ultrasound imaging equipment and related software.Strong understanding of ultrasound techniques, anatomy, and pathology recognition.Excellent patient care and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional on-call shifts.Details about the benefits package can be discussed upon application or during the interview process.
