We’re looking for someone who is motivated by our vision, and by helping our clients succeed. We are seeking a Matrimonial/Family Law Attorney or Of Counsel to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in all phases of divorce, family law as well as general litigation. We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and looking to grow their practice. We're offering a hybrid compensation structure that includes both salary and equity options.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in state supreme and family court
• Manage matrimonial and family law matters from start to finish
• Assist in building the matrimonial/family law practice of the firm
• Prepare and draft court documents (pleadings, motions and discovery) on behalf of clients
• Conduct written and oral discovery
• Appear and conduct court appearances and hearings
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice

​​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience, preferably with matrimonial and family law litigation
• Familiarity with New York Supreme and Family Court procedures
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly organized and inspiring confidence with clients
• Ability to handle difficult cases head on
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A desire to build a business and grow the practice
