To deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. Moffitt Cancer Center at SouthShore, is a 75,000 square feet full-service outpatient facility designed and equipped to provide the same level of cancer care we provide at our main hospital. The Infusion Center at Moffitt Cancer Center at SouthShore (MSS) is currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team.

The Ideal Candidate Would Have The Following Qualifications:

• Medical and Hematology oncology experience as a registered nurse
• Outpatient clinic experience as a registered nurse
• Administering IV fluids, IV antibiotics, Chemotherapy, Blood, Platelets
• Accessing ports and changing central line dressings
• Chemotherapy Certification

Responsibilities:

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professional's standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.

Credentials And Qualifications:

• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience
• FL RN License
• BLS Certification

Salary Range: $36.63 - $54.93 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
