Responsibilities

• Perform general surgical procedures and evaluate patients pre- and post-operation
• Manage surgical teams and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Ensure adherence to best practices and safety protocols in surgical operations
• Conduct consultations and maintain accurate patient records
• Address complex medical issues and provide informed treatment options
• Engage in continuous education to enhance surgical competencies
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state
• 1-3 years of experience in general surgery
• Proficiency in surgical techniques and patient management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, specific dates

Case Volume: 20 patients

Must be board-certified
