As a Security Officer Access Control in Lakewood, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will help maintain an orderly environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and prompt response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery access authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas in accordance with established site procedures, including directing visitors and vendors to designated locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
