Position Overview

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, utilizing clear and compassionate explanations for each step
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images
• Take responsibility for operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, ensuring any issues are reported swiftly
• Accurate documentation of procedures and upkeeping patient records within the digital medical system
• Stay updated with the latest developments in sonographic techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
