Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Oregon RN license not required at time of submission, pending is acceptable Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement Description: SEPTEMBER START! This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are allowed. Scheduled shifts during weekdays will be 10 hours. Weekday night call shifts will be 8 hours from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM. Weekend scheduled shifts will be 10 or 12 hours. There are up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6-week schedule. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in Level II Trauma is preferred, as well as experience in various surgical procedures. Candidates must possess skills in a range of surgical techniques and equipment. The patient demographic will include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This position requires flexibility to float to different areas as needed. Duties include providing care in a Level II Trauma Center setting. Candidate must meet compliance with required documentation upon submission. Travelers must accommodate the scheduling policies of the facility. Additional requests for time off after submission may result in removal from consideration.
