Responsibilities & Requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Handles sensitive matters courteously and with professionalism. When appropriate, can escalate to leadership for proper awareness and/or resolution.

• Adapts quickly to change and balances multiple priorities in a fast pace environment.
• Thoroughly document all interactions and consistently update consumer records in relevant technology system.
• Exhibits a desire to continuously learn, improve service delivery, and work in a team environment.
• Ability to schedule for multiple department/service areas in all hospital/outpatient departments.
• Ability to schedule various testing including but not limited to procedural scheduling including anesthesia cases.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department leaders.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Completion or equivalent
• Previous clerical / physician office training
• Epic/EMR 1 Year experience
• Medical Terminology
• Computer Literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to function in a fast-paced call center environment. While maintaining a respectful, caring, and professional manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous registration or scheduling experience
