Robotics Systems & Simulation Engineer
Xaira Therapeutics
Xaira Therapeutics seeks a robotics systems and simulation engineer to develop lab automation and robotics platforms combining simulation, computer vision, and AI. This on-site role involves building digital twins, Real2Sim/Sim2Real workflows, and integrating AI models with robotic control systems for experimental biology.
Responsibilities
- Build Real2Sim and Sim2Real workflows reusable across robotic platforms and laboratory environments
- Create and validate digital twins including coordinate alignment, articulation, and collision geometry
- Connect simulation, perception, motion planning, and physical execution through robot control stack
- Develop synthetic-data workflows and synchronized video and telemetry capture tools
- Benchmark system accuracy, reliability, latency, and GPU resource use across computing environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related engineering field
- Strong software engineering in Python, C++, or C# with Linux development experience
- Hands-on experience with robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or Gazebo
- Solid understanding of 3D coordinate transformations, robot kinematics, and calibration
- Experience integrating robots, sensors, or comparable hardware systems
