Ingles Markets is looking for an Order Selector in the Perishables Department for its Distribution Center located in Black Mountain, NC. As an Order Selector, you will:

• Select and fill grocery orders from stores.
• Ensure all items are properly and securely stacked on pallets.
• Drop off completed pallets on the loading docks for shipment.

Compensation Information: Pay starting at $20.82/hr. Multiple shifts - shift differential may apply. Start earning Paid Time Off day 1 (FT). Weekly pay with direct deposit. Opportunities for advancement.

Employment Requirements: Must be 16 years of age or older. Will conduct a Criminal Background Check. Must pass an E-Verify Screening.

Physical Requirements: Perishables department temperature ranges from 28-50 degrees. Extensive standing. Constant lifting of cases to be placed on pallets with some heavier cases weighing up to 75lbs.

Experience: Will train the right candidate. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must want to work and have excellent attendance. Must be willing to learn and pay attention to detail.
