We are looking for dependable duct work mechanics who take pride in their work and can perform & execute commercial duct work installation independently. Responsibilities Read mechanical plans and duct layouts Install fiberglass, sheet-metal and spiral duct systems Install supply, return, and exhaust/intake O/A ductwork Install hangers, supports, dampers, diffusers and grilles Lay out duct runs and identify required fittings Coordinate field conditions with the project supervisor Maintain clean, professional installations Work safely and productively with helpers and other mechanics Ideal Candidate Commercial HVAC/ductwork experience Able to read a tape measure accurately Proficiency with hand and power tools Own HVAC/ductwork tools Comfortable reading mechanical plans Able to work independently Reliable transportation Dependable attendance Professional attitude Ability to lead a helper is a plus We value employees who are reliable, productive and want long-term employment.
