Job Title: Medical Front Desk Coordinator
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour
Position Type: Evaluation Hire (Temp-to-Perm)

Job Summary

A well-established medical office in Fort Myers is seeking a polished and professional Medical Front Desk Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and can provide a high level of customer service while managing administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays/payments
• Maintain accurate patient records in the system
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Handle patient intake forms and ensure all documentation is complete
• Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment

Qualifications

• Previous medical front desk or healthcare administrative experience preferred
• Experience in a plastic surgery, dermatology, or specialty medical office is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required
