Direct message the job poster from Blink Advertising Entrepreneur | Ad Agency Owner | Innovator in Ad Tech | Dedicated Dad & Husband The SEM & Google Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Google advertising, including PPC/SEM, Google Display Network, and YouTube, as well as other platforms like Yelp, Yahoo, and Bing. They will oversee campaign setup, monitoring, optimization, and stay updated on trends and technological advancements in the space. Responsibilities: Setup and manage PPC/SEM campaigns primarily on Google, and potentially on other search engines. Manage Google ads such as LSA, GDN, and YouTube. Serve as an expert in paid search and Google advertising to guide and optimize team efforts. Collaborate with the ad operations team and account success team members. Analyze advertising data, keywords, traffic, and other reports. Conduct digital marketing research. Create, test, and optimize SEM ad copy. Review media plans within our media buying system, Advantage. Participate in team meetings and cross-team collaborations. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and core values. Perform additional duties as required to support the agency and team. Skills Needed: At least 3+ years of effective PPC/SEM experience. Proficiency in PPC/SEM copywriting. Strong analytical skills. Experience with Google Ads is essential; familiarity with Yahoo/Bing ads, Advantage, and Agency Analytics is a plus. Passion and understanding of PPC/SEM advertising. Reside within driving distance of Pittsburgh; applicants in PST, MST, or outside the U.S. will not be considered. Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Enjoy working in and improving processes. Task and deadline-oriented. Results-driven, self-motivated, and an overachiever. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of marketing communications or integrated marketing. Proficiency in Google Drive and agency productivity tools. Ability to follow processes and optimize ad campaigns effectively.
