DevOps Engineer - Remote

We are a leading proprietary trading firm proudly headquartered in downtown Chicago. As a DevOps engineer, you will build cloud-based infrastructure for Belvedere's next-generation data streaming platform to support quant study and real-time trading operations. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a record of accomplishment and a drive to learn. As a member of our team, you will learn and grow your expertise and help pass your knowledge on to others. At Belvedere, you work with the best, learn with the best, and help create the best software in the industry.

What You'll be Doing:

Work iteratively in a highly collaborative and engaging environment
Build and maintain cloud CI/CD pipelines
Monitor existing development processes and update or create new processes to improve developer efficiency and happiness
Provision and work with third-party tools and required infrastructure
Support our cloud infrastructure in GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
Build automated processes whenever possible

Requirements:

4+ years of DevOps experience
Experience with any Linux variant (CLI, installation, packaging)
Experience in Infrastructure as Code, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Bazel
Experience with scripting automation using tools like Python and Bash
Hands-on working knowledge of GCP, cloud services and technologies

Nice to Have's:

Experience with ArgoCD, Vault, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes
An understanding of networking and hardware
