Cath Lab Registered Nurse Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). On-call required during the weeknights and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in diagnostic cardiac catheterization and cardiac stent placement. The Nurse will be responsible for circulating procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and assist in cardiac stent placements.
• Circulate procedures and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain all required documentation in compliance with facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Must hold a valid California RN license.
• Experience with cardiac stent placements and catheterization procedures is essential.
