Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Omaha, NE area 

Term: 2026/2027 Full School Year 

Status: Full-Time Contract (35 Hours/Week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Special Education Teacher for a full-year contract assignment. As a contract professional in this program, you will work in a supportive, resource-rich environment designed to help young learners with a variety of needs develop foundational skills in a specialized classroom setting.

Key Position Details

• Employment Type: W2 Contract

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 working hours per day

• Compensation: $35-40 an hour based on experience and fit

Requirements

To be considered for this contract position, candidates MUST possess:

• Nebraska Department of Education teaching certificate

• Valid Special Education endorsement appropriate for grade level placement

• Previous experience or a strong clinical interest in working with special needs students

• New grads who have completed student teaching are welcome to apply

Candidates who are not fully licensed or who will not be licensed before the beginning of the 26-27 school year will NOT be considered.
