About the Position

Candidates will work primarily in an infusion procedural center. Every fourth weekend of work is required. Cross posting for job opportunities may involve different scheduling options of either 4x10s or 4x12s. Staffing may require floating to other infusion centers, though this is unlikely. Nursing responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and managing ports. Experience in active immunotherapy and administering blood products is important. The role also encompasses monitoring chemotherapy effects and managing side effects. Candidates must have experience in working with non-specific and specific immunotherapy. Skills in central line and PICC line care are preferred. Candidates should be capable of recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various oncology diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support is available in this setting. The unit participates in clinical trials and specializes in cellular therapies. Additional responsibilities may include the administration of antibiotics and corticosteroids.
