Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a hospital surgical environment.
• Experience working in an operating room that includes exposure to general and specialty surgical procedures.
• Ability to work 0700-1530 shift hours and meet a 40-hour expected workweek as outlined by the client.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a high-volume hospital surgical department.
• Familiarity with sterile technique management and operating room instrumentation sets for multiple surgical specialties.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation in perioperative settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700-1530.
• Expected Hours: 40 per week.
• Start: ASAP.
