Role Description The Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Bradenton, FL. This position focuses on generating new business opportunities and building relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and local businesses. Daily responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and presenting Home Instead Senior Care's services to prospective clients and partners. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in a CRM system, collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, and participating in local events or networking activities to increase brand awareness. Success in this position requires consistent follow-up, proactive problem solving, and a strong commitment to supporting seniors and their families. Qualifications & Experience: One year experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry required, an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Proven experience in outside sales and marketing, preferably within the home care industry or related field Self-Starter: Thrives in a self-directed environment and takes initiative Results-Oriented & Competitive: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets Strong networking, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to operate independently and manage a high level of field-based activity. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to spend 95% of your time in the local community, actively building strong relationships and referral partnerships. Experience in an outside field sales role.
