Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,930 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Position Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures, preparing patients for procedures, monitoring patients during procedures, and reporting abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques for patient and operator exposure. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to IR procedures to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Minimum Qualifications 1 year of recent acute‑care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification, and state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. ARREN (VI) certification and 2 years of experience (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment). Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
