Principal Scientist (Director) - Outcomes Research

Job Overview Position resides within the company’s Value and Implementation (V&I) Outcomes Research organization, responsible for real‑world evidence generation and outcomes research studies to enable sustained patient access to the company’s innovations and improve patient health outcomes. Under the guidance of a senior leader, this individual will support the V&I Outcomes Research teams in Lung Cancers. Primary Responsibilities Plan and manage a comprehensive program of real‑world evidence and non‑interventional research activities for in‑line and pipeline lung‑cancer products. Critically assess drivers and barriers to reimbursement and market access; provide input into clinical, payer/access, marketing, and value evidence generation strategies. Design non‑interventional and data synthesis studies; author study protocols, develop questionnaires, case report forms, data analysis plans, final reports, scientific presentations, and publications. Manage study‑related contracting, budgets, and vendor/partner relationships. Develop AMCP dossiers for U.S. payers and Global Value Dossiers. Create supplementary clinical data packages for HTA agencies in partnership with country affiliates and the HTA statistics group. Support country affiliates to understand local evidence generation needs and adapt health‑economic evaluations and research documents. Communicate outcomes research and health‑economic modelling data internally and to external stakeholders. Maintain awareness of new scientific and methodological developments within the therapeutic area. Build partnerships with scientific experts worldwide. Present research data at national and international congresses and publish articles in scientific journals. Required Experience and Skills Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DrPH, ScD, or PharmD with fellowship relevant to Health Services Research, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacy Administration). Four or more years post‑doctoral degree or 7+ years post‒master’s degree in the life‑science industry conducting non‑interventional research and generating value evidence. Oncology experience.
