What You'll Do

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a network of carrier partners while ensuring freight moves efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, onboard, and develop relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
• Negotiate rates and secure transportation capacity to meet customer needs.
• Match available freight with qualified carriers while maximizing profitability.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and proactively resolve issues.
• Build long-term partnerships with carriers through exceptional communication and service.
• Collaborate closely with operations, customer sales, and dispatch teams.
• Maintain accurate carrier records and transportation data within company systems.
• Stay informed on market trends, capacity shifts, and transportation pricing.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, carrier sales, or customer service preferred.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems is a plus.
