Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – South Carolina

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Patient ratio 6:1 on nights. Float coverage to similar units may be required based on census needs.

• 25-bed unit with average daily census of 20 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• EPIC electronic medical record system; Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Comprehensive orientation provided; paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursable)

Requirements:

• Current South Carolina RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience; 3 years within specialty required for first-time travelers
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
• Proficiency in blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and isolation precautions
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must reside 50+ miles from assignment location (specific mileage requirements apply)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Willingness to float to similar units or nearby facilities as needed
