THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOININGHighly innovative manufacturing/distribution organization with revenues in excess of $5B annually Industry-leading market influencer experiencing strong organic and inorganic growth Forward-thinking enterprise committed to investing in operational rigor, commercial excellence, and strategic sourcing capability Collaborative executive leadership team that values data-driven decision-making and disciplined governance WHAT THEY OFFER YOUDirect exposure to executive leadership and enterprise-level sourcing decisions Opportunity to own a broad indirect spend portfolio and build category strategies with measurable financial impact Highly visible role supporting Finance, Legal, and Business stakeholders Ability to shape sourcing governance and best practices within a growing, maturing function Growth runway as the sourcing organization expands LOCATION:Huntersville, NC First 90 days fully on-site; thereafter 3 days/week in-office required WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANTOwn strategic sourcing across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories Deliver validated savings, optimize commercial agreements, and mitigate contractual and operational risk Build and execute category strategies aligned to enterprise financial targets Lead complex negotiations and contract redlining across high-value supplier agreements Develop TCO models and financial analyses that inform executive decision-making Deliver structured updates to leadership on pipeline performance and value realization Drive supplier governance, holding vendors accountable to performance and contract terms Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to align sourcing strategy with enterprise priorities Identify and mitigate contractual and operational risk across the supplier base THE BACKGROUND THAT FITSBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 7–10 years of progressive strategic sourcing or procurement experience Experience in the area of logistics is a strong plus Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives with measurable financial impact Strong contract negotiation and redlining capability Strong Excel skills and financial modeling and spend analysis experience Executive communication and stakeholder influence High accountability, grit, and operational intensity
