Job Title: RN Circulator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous Meditech experience Experience as an OR Circulator Proficiency in general, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, ENT, and plastics procedures Description: The position is for an experienced RN Circulator in an Operating Room setting. The unit has 10 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes unit secretaries and technicians. The equipment used encompasses general, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, ENT, and plastics. Documentation is done through Meditech. Scheduling requires availability for either a 7 AM to 7 PM or an 11 AM to 7 PM shift. Floating to other areas may occur if not needed in the Operating Room. A strong focus on patient experience is essential. All procedures are performed except for cardiac. The dress code includes required uniform, with hospital-provided scrubs. The unit has a great working environment with 82% employee engagement. The department is fully staffed except for the RN Circulator role.
