We are seeking a dedicated In Vivo Research Assistant to perform critical hands-on rodent studies supporting innovative oncology and pharmacology pipelines. location: South San Francisco, California job type: Contract salary: $25 - 32 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors Responsibilities Perform routine mouse handling, restraint, health monitoring, and study randomization per approved protocols. Conduct in vivo dosing via intravenous (IV), intraperitoneal (IP), and subcutaneous routes. Establish tumor xenograft and syngeneic models through precision tumor implantation. Collect biological samples including blood, tissue, and tumor harvests. Maintain accurate electronic study records and ensure strict adherence to IACUC guidelines. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with 1+ years of rodent handling experience OR Associate/GED with 5+ years of experience. Hands-on proficiency in rodent dosing (IV, IP) and tumor model establishment. Demonstrated compliance with animal welfare regulations and SOPs. Preferred 3+ years of preclinical oncology or pharmacology experience. Experience with oral gavage, necropsy, and Studylog software.
