Job Summary:
The Patient Ambassador role involves serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the medical center, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle routine inquiries and provide navigation assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors, delivering a professional and friendly first impression.
• Assist with wayfinding through the facility to ensure smooth patient navigation.
• Manage badging processes and verify patient information efficiently.
• Answer routine questions and provide general information based on inquiries.
• Collaborate with staff and use communication tools such as MS Teams, Outlook, Epic, and Passagepoint (training available).
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with safety and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer-facing environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Teams, Outlook, Epic, and Passagepoint or willing to be trained.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
