Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in a food and beverage manufacturing environment, where you will be hands-on in developing technicians and ensuring that the food manufacturing lines are running efficiently. Your role will involve performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and overseeing the repair and installation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing activities in an assigned area of a food production plant.
• Supervise a team of 8-12 technicians during the 2nd shift.
• Coach, mentor, and train maintenance leads and technicians.
• Maintain a safe environment by supporting food and workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure that the assigned lines meet production goals and exceptional quality standards.
• Recommend opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.
• Communicate issues timely to production management.
• Provide training opportunities and development tools for production staff.
• Enforce safe work practices.
• Spend 90% of your time on the floor to ensure hands-on supervision and support.

Work Environment

Join a dynamic team working in a maintenance department across first, second, and third shifts. Wear steel-toed shoes as part of the dress code, with work scheduled Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays (2-3 times per year).

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
