Monday Through Friday 7-3 Registered Nurse Unit Manager

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at St. Camillus, a 124 bed skilled nursing facility is seeking a Unit Manager.

The Unit Manager must:

• Be responsible for the overall operation and quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.
• Be able to follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and the Nursing Policies and Procedures.
• Have an interest in the nursing needs of aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
• Have the ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties and work within a team system.
• Minimum one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• CPR/IV certified.

Qualified Applicants will possess:

• A Valid State of Connecticut RN License.
• At least one year of experience within Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facility setting.
• Have previous experience in a Supervisor role within a SNF.
