Produce Stocker

The primary purpose of the Produce Clerk is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, gaining product knowledge, rotation of products, merchandising, and controlling shrink. The Produce Clerk is to establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. The Produce Clerk is responsible for all fresh and packaged vegetables and fruit, generating sales and merchandising products. Duties and Responsibilities: Observe all store rules and company policies. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations. Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service. Knows seasonality, use, and taste of products offered. Observe shift-operating hours at all times as scheduled by the department manager. Must be able to work in a cold environment. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Display merchandise in an attractive, appealing, and neat manner. Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on an ongoing basis. Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
