BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Burlington, NC 27215 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.

Position Details

• Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
• Location: Burlington, NC 27215
• Pay: $22/hr.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required)
  • Electrical repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Appliance diagnostics and repair
  • Carpentry and general maintenance
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

Requirements

• EPA or HVAC certification required
• CPO certified required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
