PSC phlebotomist-Part Time

Position Overview Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Mobile, AL. The phlebotomist will work in a Patient Service Center or a Client office, providing skilled specimen collections and exceptional customer service. Work Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 6:30 am-10:30 am and Saturday 8:00 am-12:00 pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as needed. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Proof of exceptional customer service record. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime when required. Must pass a standardized color-blindness test. Vaccination Requirement This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19.
