Executive Vice President, Servicing Quality Control – Regulations and Compliance

Location: CA – Westlake Village

Responsibilities

• Manage relationship with external Servicing QC vendors and sub‑servicers as Vendor Relationship Owner, overseeing quality control reviews and ensuring timely resolution of actionable items.
• Assess sub‑servicers’ compliance with federal and state servicing statutes and program‑specific requirements, creating monthly and annual test plans and evaluating call conduct and consumer complaint reviews.
• Manage issues escalated to the enterprise level, ensuring compliance with the enterprise Issues Management standard in the GRC system.
• Identify discrepancies and process improvement opportunities via audit findings, management reports, and servicer discussions; prepare weekly and monthly reports for management and compile operational metrics.
• Navigate mortgage servicing systems (MSP, MortgageServ, LoanServ, SBO, etc.) and develop effective quality control policies, evaluating servicer performance with scorecards and trend analysis.
• Lead and develop a team, responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry (Correspondent or Retail Lending) and related products/services.
• Expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate‑advanced knowledge and understanding of servicer actions during the servicing “life‑events” of a mortgage loan.
• Intermediate‑advanced experience with MS Office Suites.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Occasional travel required.

Compensation

Salary range for new hires is generally $222,060.00 – $291,823.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. The role may also be eligible for annual bonus/incentives and restricted stock.
