Food Services Associate I - PRN

Overview PRN – hours vary per shift. Day shift: 6:30 a‑3 p. Second shift: 11 a‑7:30 p. This role prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of happiness for a diverse customer base. It involves quick, accurate, and courteous service, resolution of customer concerns, and maintaining sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. The position requires operating food service and computer equipment, standing and working with patients, delivering food trays and carts to patients and ambassadors, cleaning, stocking, and working in the dish room. No experience required; prior food service experience is preferred. Ability to operate kitchen equipment. Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber‑soled closed‑toe footwear, etc. Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption. Ability to climb ladders. Physical requirements include reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time. #J-18808-Ljbffr IU Health
