Job Description

Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $308 - $332/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiation Oncologist for a temporary assignment in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Radiation Oncologist:
• Provide coverage in a Radiation Oncology setting on weekday shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with 30-minute lunch break)
• Serve as vacation and flexible coverage (1-2 days as needed throughout the contract period)
• Monitor and oversee the linear accelerator machine during treatments
• Respond to and manage emergent situations as they arise within the department
• Conduct occasional follow-up visits with established patients (adult population, age 18+)
• Work collaboratively with support staff including nurses, radiation therapists, physicists, and dosimetrists
• Utilize Epic (EMR) for all clinical documentation
• Maintain Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
• Maintain an active Pennsylvania (PA) license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable specialty/setting
• Complete full credentialing and compliance requirements within the required timeframe prior to start
• Submit all required credentialing documentation, including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within required timeframes
• Schedule and complete Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection as required
• Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
