Receiving Manager

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dynamic Receiving Lead in Atlanta, GA. In this rewarding and high-impact role, you will be responsible for leading daily receiving operations for an industry-leading linen distribution company, overseeing inventory accuracy, and guiding a dedicated warehouse team toward daily operational success. In a Receiving Lead job you’ll be responsible for: Leading and coordinating daily receiving operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow from arrival to storage. Inspecting incoming shipments of commercial linens, verifying packing slips, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Operating warehouse equipment (such as forklifts and pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to stage inventory. Managing inventory records within the warehouse management system and reporting discrepancies promptly. Mentoring, training, and directing warehouse team members to hit daily performance and safety goals. What you’ll need: 5 to 10 years of proven receiving and warehouse leadership experience (linen, textile, or high-volume distribution experience is a strong plus). Strong knowledge of inventory management procedures, receiving processes, and standard warehouse equipment. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and problem-solve on the fly. Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy linen shipments and remain on your feet throughout the shift. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Perks: Competitive Pay: Earn a strong hourly rate of $21.00/hr to start. Additional Information & Schedule: Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour. Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – Finish (Day ends once all scheduled incoming shipments are fully received and processed!).
