About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Regional CDL A Drivers for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Drivers will operate a sleeper unit with a 53-foot refrigerated trailer on multi-stop food product routes across multiple states.

This on-site driving opportunity offers support from a dedicated TransForce team and primarily involves no-touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $35 per hour
Overtime available after 40 hours
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Days may vary
Start times typically range from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Most routes include 2 to 3 nights away from home, with longer layovers possible based on distance and backhaul availability
Regional routes based in Harrisonburg, Virginia
Employment type: Temporary to permanent
Anticipated start date: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Operate a sleeper unit with a 53-foot refrigerated trailer on regional routes
Pick up and deliver food products from warehouses and distribution centers
Complete multiple stops safely and efficiently across assigned routes
Maintain compliance with all applicable transportation regulations and safety standards

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Experience operating Class A equipment with 53-foot refrigerated trailers
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
