Sonographer IStep into a vital role where your imaging skills make a life-saving difference!Novant Health is seeking a PRN Sonographer to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.What You'll DoThe Sonographer assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.What We're Looking ForEducation: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.Experience: One year experience in Sonography, preferred.Licensure/Certification:NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required.NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.At Novant Health, we believe remarkable care starts with compassion for our patients, our communities, and each other.
